Main idea
WPML Oxygen Connector does not translate every internal Oxygen datum. It focuses on fields that normally contain visible or translation-relevant content.
The goal is to translate what the visitor sees or interacts with, without touching technical data that could break the design.
Common element families
- Simple texts.
- Rich texts.
- Buttons.
- Links.
- Accordions or elements with repeaters.
- Image boxes with title and text.
- Visible form fields.
- Form messages.
- Some visual texts from WooCommerce elements configured inside Oxygen.
- HTML or code blocks when they contain visible text and should be translated carefully.
Complex elements
Some elements may contain several internal strings: title, text, button, link, message, placeholder, or options.
That is why a single visual section can generate several translatable rows in View strings.
If an element is missing
If visible text does not appear after scanning, it may be because it belongs to another plugin, is generated dynamically, or that element needs an additional compatibility rule.
In that case, contact support and provide a screenshot, the affected URL, and, if requested, a support file.
