Common causes

  • License not active.
  • License expired.
  • Outgoing connection blocked by the hosting provider.
  • Insufficient WordPress permissions.
  • Plugins folder without write permissions.
  • Temporary connection problem.
  • Installation not performed with the official ZIP.

What to check first

  • That the license appears as active in the panel.
  • That WordPress can install or update other plugins.
  • That the hosting allows external connections.
  • That there are no security rules blocking downloads.
  • That you have administrator permissions.

What to do

  1. Check the license status.
  2. Try the update again.
  3. If you use object cache or advanced security, check the hosting logs.
  4. Update manually only if support tells you to and using an official ZIP.
  5. Contact support with the exact error message.

Do not download plugin versions from unofficial sources. In commercial plugins, using unofficial packages can create security risks and loss of support.
